This policy explains what information the Trip Wire app (package fi.dntech.tripwire), published by DNT, handles and why.
Trip Wire uses your device's camera only while you are using the preview or while the trip wire is switched on. Camera frames are compared with each other on your device to notice movement, and an alarm sound is played when something moves. No pictures or video are saved, uploaded, shared or sent to us or to anyone else.
While the trip wire is on, the app shows a notification with the number of times it has been tripped. This stays on your device.
The app has no sign-in and does not ask for your name, email address or other personal details. We do not collect, store or sell personal data.
The app is free and shows a banner ad provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
This data is sent to Google over an encrypted connection. Google's use of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy settings button in the app. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
